This week in math we discussed functions, coordinates, and graphs. I was pretty excited about this chapter because one of my favorite things is graphs and functions. I am terrible at math, but function and graphs come easy to me! There were two group activities. I really enjoyed the first lesson because i won a snickers!!!! He was also upbeat and funny! The second lesson that was taught was also good. I wish she would have had a little more time to explain everything but the way she had us cut out the paper to understand the numeration systems was pretty unique!!
I used this this site to help me remember how graphing was done. Basically you have to have to points such as (2,3) you would go over to the right 2 and up 3 on the graph and dot your point. If your point was (-2,3) you would go over to the left 2 and up 3. Go ahead and try to plot these same points using this graph.
So far I am enjoying this class. It is a bit overwhelming. I feel like there is so much to do, and I am worried I'm going to forget some stuff. Although, its a good challenge. I'm looking forward to this class and all the things that Amy is going to teach us!!!
